Which clip is best suited for my little one?
1. Baby bows and clippies: Special clips and unique lining makes these 1.25 inch clippies best suitable for babies and toddlers with little to almost no hair. Just a few short hairs and she is set for a bow.
2. Alligator clips (partially lined): after thousands of bows and clips made by us we found that these are the best option for girls of all ages. Not only they have a tight grip on your little one's hair, they are also soft on her strands. They are the best on top of ponytails or on their own.
This is the standard option we use, other options are available upon request and they are:
3. Aligator clips (fully lined): the whole metal clip is lined with ribbon. this is great for toddlers and little children if you do not want the metal part to touch their hair or scalp. It has a little less grip on the hair and is harder to clip ontop of a ponytail.
4.French clips: we offer 3 sizes: 1.5 inches (40mm) 2.5 inches (60mm) and 3.2 inches(80mm) . Some parents prefer these.
1.5" works best for toddlers with thick hair and preschoolers.
2.5 and 3.5 are great for preschoolers, or scholl girls with thick hair.
We also offer a special lining that goes on the partially lined Alligator clips, these are great for girls that have very soft slippery hair.
Which bow style fits my girl best?
0-12 months: The baby non-slip clips and bows such as the petite classic bow, the mary-Jane and the baby korker as well as the baby headbands are the best for this age group.
1-3 years: Our small sized bows, Mary-Janes, boas and hair clippies are the most popular for this age group, also the baby korkers on alligator clips would look great.
Medium and large sized bows can be worn as well as the small sized korkers on alligator clips for the little ones with more hair to show.
Baby headbands or big girl headbands are both suitable for this age group.
4 years and up: almost all bows from small to large (also
Big girl headbands, double ruffle bows, boas, korkers...)
would look great ...depends on the look you are trying to achieve. Custom funky layered bows are also available upon request.
